In Space there's Room for Everyone
The Rakia Mission is not a one-man mission - it belongs to all of us. It includes scientists and researchers, education organizations and teachers, Israeli artists, etc. We invite each one of you to take part in the variety of activities, which will be contributing toward innovation, education and culture in Israel.

Education
A physics lesson in which the students will learn about hydrophilic materials (materials that bond with water) and hydrophobic materials (materials which repel water) and will observe the intermolecular forces in action. The experiment will be performed in the classrooms concurrent with the experiment being performed on board the Space Station.
Later on we will learn to identify hydrophilic and hydrophobic materials through an experimental approach and discuss their chemical composition.
The lesson has been submitted as part of the Learning from Space contest by Maor Madmon.
